Repaint
Our repaint team have a full understanding of individual client requirements. There are many instances whereby customer operations cannot be impeded because of a refurbishment program. Paint Maintenance
All buildings and structures require care and planned maintenance (particularly in the harsh marine environment in which we live here in New Zealand). This ensures a customer’s major capital investment is both protected and maintained. The concept is quite simply one of prevention vs. cure.
A programmed and structured system where buildings (and structures alike) are painted with the most effective materials and the newly painted surfaces are then cleaned and renovated at regular intervals under a prescribed term maintenance contract. The cleaning combined with regular effective paint maintenance removes contaminants and oxidized paint to help prolong the paint life and ensure that a protective coating is maintained at all times. The underlying materials are protected against deterioration and the buildings kept looking at their best. Ultimately, this system proves more cost effective than ad hoc painting.

Spray Painting

We have extensive experience with the airless spraying method of paint application. This system will provide a great finish under the right conditions – so long as the substrate is correctly prepared.
Typically – this system of paint application is used to cover large surface areas with an even coating of paint in a comparatively short time frame.

JMA Decorators Ltd can provide a fast, easy and safe solution utilising products containing ‘Surface Active Technology’. These formulated products are environmentally friendly and can remove deep seated stains from most substrates that have previously been thought to have been permanent. This work is attended to without the need for aggressive chemicals or flammable solvents.
In addition, we are able to apply a semi-sacrificial coating which has the effect of limiting absorption of any graffiti attacks for many years. This system works by blocking the pores of the substrate – the pores of a graffiti surface is what causes the ‘shadow’ effect.
